DANBURY, CT — Honeywell Consumer Products Group (CPG) has taken steps to increase its role as a “one-stop shop” for its customers with its introduction into the cap and thermostat market through its FRAM and Prestone brands.

Honeywell CPG now offers a complete line of value, mid-grade and premium thermostat and cap products. CSK and Murray’s will begin rolling out the new line this month.

According to Jeff Bye, vice president of Prestone, market research shows the two brands are a good fit for these niche markets.

“We did extensive research before entering the fuel market and the target audience was overwhelmingly receptive,” said Bye. “We are here to provide a solution to some of the industry’s current issues with caps and thermostats manufacturers. We expect our entry into this market to be successful partially due to FRAM and Prestone’s reputations, vast distribution channels and customer service.”
