ORLAND PARK, IL A panel of senior executives from the commercial vehicle industry will discuss “Access to Product and Service Information, an Industry Perspective” during Heavy Duty Aftermarket Week (HDAW). HDAW will be held Monday, Jan. 21 through Thursday, Jan. 24 at The Mirage in Las Vegas.
Moderated by Dave Scheer, president of Inland Truck parts, the panel will address the reality that today’s trucks are complex networks of components controlled by vehicle electronic control modules with more products becoming electronically controlled every day. The discussion will focus on presenting the issue from all industry perspectives: the truck owner and truck manufacturer, the component supplier and the independent parts and service provider, as well as discuss potential solutions.
Panelists include:
Michele Calbi, vice president of equipment for Swift Transportation, one of the top fleets in North America;
Vicky Black, CEO of Fabory North America and former general manager of Dana’s aftermarket parts business;
Peter Pasdach, president of Midway Truck Parts, a major independent distributor; and
