HDAW’09 One-on-One Meeting Supplier Registration Now Open

Heavy Duty Aftermarket Week (HDAW) '09 has officially opened One-on-One meeting supplier registrations for the February 2009 conference. HDAW '09 will be held at the Rosen Centre Hotel and the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Fla., Monday, Feb. 16 through Thursday, Feb. 19, 2009. During HDAW '08, 89 distributor and 90 supplier companies participated in 1,415 scheduled meetings. This very popular element of HDAW'08 is again available for supplier and distributor participation in 2009.

ORLAND PARK, Ill. – Heavy Duty Aftermarket Week (HDAW) ’09 has officially opened One-on-One meeting supplier registrations for the February 2009 conference.

HDAW ’09 will be held at the Rosen Centre Hotel and the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Fla., Monday, Feb. 16 through Thursday, Feb. 19, 2009.

During HDAW ’08, 89 distributor and 90 supplier companies participated in 1,415 scheduled meetings. This very popular element of HDAW’08 is again available for supplier and distributor participation in 2009.

One-on-One meeting participation is limited to suppliers that are members of one of the sponsoring organizations and have registered and reserved exhibit space at HDAW ’09. Cost for exhibiting suppliers to participate in One-on-One meetings is $650. Deadline for suppliers to register for One-on-One Meetings is Friday, Oct. 3.

"The timing of the One-on-One meetings during HDAW ’09 in February coincides with many exhibiting supplier’s new product launches and is an excellent opportunity to display their latest and greatest product lines," said Angelo Volpe, vice president of CVSN and coordinator of HDAW ’09 One-on-One meetings. "Due to the popularity of this program, we anticipate an even greater number of meetings to be scheduled in 2009."

Distributor companies and exhibiting suppliers that are members of the 13 sponsoring organizations are encouraged to return the paperwork for this important element of HDAW as soon as possible.

HDAW is the largest North American gathering of the independent heavy duty industry. More than 1,800 managers and executives from 17 countries including distributors, manufacturers, service providers, educators and media attended the 2008 conference.

HDAW is presented by a joint operating committee comprised of industry leaders from American Council of Frame and Alignment Specialists (ACOFAS), Commercial Vehicle Solutions Network (CVSN), Heavy Duty America (HDA), Heavy Duty Distribution Association (HDDA), Heavy Duty Manufacturers Association (HDMA), Heavy Duty Remanufacturing Group (HDRG), International Truck Parts Association (ITPA), Overseas Automotive Council (OAC), Power Heavy Duty, Service Specialists Association (SSA), Truck Pride, Truck Frame and Axel Repair Association (TARA) and VIPAR HD Parts.
