HDA Truck Pride is sponsoring two students from WyoTech’s Blairsville, Pennsylvania, campus, Elijah Barr and Karl Kerutis, with the help of WyoTech’s Duane Tegels, diesel tech coordinator.

HDA Truck - LogoHDA Truck Pride has been supporting industry efforts to encourage “the next generation” to pursue a career within the commercial vehicle aftermarket for years, according to the company. HDATP also says that fostering a new pool of talent for the industry is part of the company’s strategic plan. TMC’s FutureTech National Student Technician Competition is a natural fit to endorse this effort, as the event allows students to compete in a set of technical skill stations.

AutoZone, Inc. posted a solid performance for its second quarter, ending February 10, 2024, with net sales reaching $3.9 billion, marking a 4.6% increase from the same period last fiscal year. The company reported that same store sales, encompassing both domestic and international outlets open for at least one year, showed positive growth. Domestic same store sales increased by 0.3%, while international same store sales surged by 23.9%.
