Freudenberg-NOK Sealing Technologies Announces Supplier Excellence Achievement Award Winners

Awards are based on quality, delivery, cost-management, technology and overall service performance.

PLYMOUTH, Mich. — Freudenberg-NOK Sealing Technologies has announced the recipients of its 2012 Supplier Excellence Achievement Level (SEAL) Awards. The suppliers were selected based on exemplary performance in the areas of quality, delivery, cost-management, technology and overall service to Freudenberg-NOK and its manufacturing sites.
 
The SEAL Awards, now in its fifth year, are divided into Gold, Silver and Bronze levels for chemical and metal suppliers.
 
Winners of the 2012 SEAL Awards include:
 
Chemical Raw Materials Suppliers
* Gold: Zeon Chemicals, LP; Louisville, Ky.
* Silver: Cabot Corp.; Boston
* Bronze: Shin-Etsu Silicones of America Inc.; Akron, Ohio
 
Metal Material Suppliers
* Gold: Headly Manufacturing; Broadview, Ill.
* Silver: Coilplus – North Carolina Inc.; Greensboro, N.C.
* Bronze: Prospect Machine Products; Prospect, Conn.
 
"Our SEAL awards are a way to recognize the hard work our metal and chemical suppliers displayed the previous year," said Matt Portu, vice president supply chain, Freudenberg-NOK. "They exemplify the qualities that Freudenberg-NOK looks for in its partners and we are proud to award them for their outstanding performance in 2012."
