PLYMOUTH, MI — Freudenberg-NOK General Partnership acquired the assets of Precision Industries Corporation of Germantown, WI, a developer and manufacturer of specialized custom diaphragms. This acquisition provides Freudenberg-NOK with fabric reinforced diaphragm capabilities in North America, as well as on a global basis with its partners in Europe and Japan. Terms of the agreement were not disclosed.

state-of-the-art equipment, including PLC controlled presses, 3-D modeling systems, and robust manufacturing software; they optimize processes to bring customers diaphragm solutions, which are both robust and cost-efficient.
John Plant, owner and president, established Precision Industries as a strong and focused supplier of specialty diaphragm products for general industry markets. Plant will continue with Freudenberg-NOK through a transition period. "Freudenberg-NOK has a goal to grow in the specialty diaphragm market and this acquisition reflects our commitment to that vision," said Dr. Jorg Schneewind, general manager of the Special Sealing Products Division. Schneewind continues, "With the addition of Precision Industries’ expertise, as well as that of our European and Japanese Diaphragm Division, we will employ the most advanced diaphragm technology currently available to meet our customers’ needs in North America and Worldwide."
