Four Seasons Marks Fifth Year of Car Care Council Women’s Board Sponsorship

Sponsorship enables the Women's Board to continue to promote career opportunities for women in the automotive parts and service industry through its annual scholarship program for post-secondary vocational and high school students.

BETHESDA, Md. – The Four Seasons division of Standard Motor Products (SMP) is continuing its support of the Car Care Council Women’s Board (WB) for the fifth year in a row, by sponsoring its 2009 WB activities at the Bronze Level.

“We are very pleased to sponsor the Women’s Board for another year,” said Kevin Burton, director, marketing & integrated business supply, Four Seasons. “There are a lot of great opportunities for women in the automotive aftermarket and we’re thrilled to continue supporting the Women’s Board in their efforts of recruiting and retaining talented women in the industry.”

Sponsorship enables the Women’s Board to continue to promote career opportunities for women in the automotive parts and service industry through its annual scholarship program for post-secondary vocational and high school students. Sponsorship funds also enable the group to encourage women to become active in vehicle maintenance through consumer education, industry involvement and maintenance of the WB Web site at http://women.carcare.org. In addition, funds support the annual Automotive Communications Awards and reception in Las Vegas.
