STAUNTON, Va. – Long-time Federated spokesman and NASCAR legend Ken Schrader will be on-hand to sign autographs at the annual Mecum Kissimmee Auction at Osceola Heritage Park in Kissimmee, Fla. Schrader will be signing on Saturday, Jan. 28 from 2-3 p.m. EST. The auction runs Jan. 24-29. 
“Race fans love Kenny Schrader and we want to thank him for participating in this terrific event on behalf of Federated. Plus, the Federated Auto Parts 300 pace car will be one of the many great cars auctioned off at Kissimmee. What an exciting auction it will be,” said Rusty Bishop, CEO of Federated Auto Parts.
The 2011 Federated Auto Parts 300 pace car, a 2010 Chevrolet Camaro RS/SS (Lot S173), will be one of the more than 2,000 collector cars auctioned off during the six-day event. Schrader will drive the Federated vehicle across the auction block on national television, where Mecum will offer it to bidders around 5 p.m. on Jan. 28
Patterned after the legendary Z11 Indy 500 Pace Car and built by the “Two Guys Garage” TV crew, the 2010 Camaro RS/SS features a Whipple supercharger, NHRA-approved roll bar, controls for the pace car strobe lighting system and an autographed dash.
As in years past, Federated also will participate in the Mecum Kissimmee Auction as part of the Federated/Standard “Dream Car Sweepstakes” program. This annual promotion awards one lucky Federated technician or counterperson with an all-expense paid trip to the Mecum Kissimmee Auction, plus $15,000 to spend on a car during the event.
