SOUTHFIELD, Mich. — Federal-Mogul is reporting that its industry-leading MOOG steering and suspension product line now features 81 additional high-volume parts covering millions of late-model foreign-nameplate and domestic applications. With dozens of premium new parts added each month, the MOOG line is the aftermarket’s most complete chassis repair resource, according to Federal-Mogul.

Among the latest additions to the MOOG product line are 21 new tie rod ends, 25 coil springs, 11 sway bar bushing kits, three control arms with integral ball joints and a variety of other parts for popular late-model applications from Acura, BMW, Honda, Hyundai, Kia, Lexus, Mercedes-Benz, Mitsubishi, Nissan, Suzuki, Toyota, Chrysler, Ford and General Motors. The most popular new coverage includes left and right control arms with integral ball joints for approximately 2 million Chevrolet Malibu, Pontiac G6 and Saturn Aura models and nearly 700,000 Hyundai Sonata, XG300 and XG350 and Kia Optima models; a coil spring isolator for nearly 1.1 million Chrysler 300 and Dodge Charger and Magnum models; and tie rod ends for nearly 700,000 Ford, Lincoln and Mercury models as well as more than 400,000 Honda CR-V and nearly 550,000 Nissan Altima models.

Each part features aftermarket-engineered technologies, which the company says have helped make MOOG products the No. 1 choice of NASCAR Sprint Cup crew chiefs and automotive repair professionals.

“Each month, our product and engineering teams spend hundreds of hours identifying emerging chassis repair opportunities and developing best-in-class solutions for the applications that technicians are most likely to encounter in their shops,” said Mark Boyle, director, steering and suspension products, Federal-Mogul. “The MOOG brand stands for innovative, problem-solving technologies combined with the category’s best coverage and availability.
