Exclusive Raybestos Chassis Clinic Lets Winners Live Out NASCAR Dreams

Promotion winners treated to comprehensive experience at Joe Gibbs Racing.

MCHENRY, Ill. — Winners of the Exclusive Raybestos Chassis Master Technician Clinic experienced a whirlwind tour of the JGR facility that included a Question & Answer session with Joe and J.D. Gibbs, a Master Technician Chassis Clinic conducted by Affinia Training Director Wally Marciniak, and an in-depth tech session held around a #20 Home Depot car conducted by Todd Foster, JGR Chassis Specialist, and Jeff Eicher, JGR Brake Specialist.

Just about the only NASCAR experience the winners were not able to experience during their November trip to Joe Gibbs Racing in Charlotte, N.C., was hopping pit row to help change tires.

“Just as Raybestos Chassis replacement parts offer unmatched quality, we wanted to offer our Master Technician winners an experience unmatched in originality,” said Josh Russell, vice president of marketing, Affinia Global Brake & Chassis. “The chance to talk shop with owner and president of a NASCAR team, as well as the chance to receive a chassis and brake clinic conducted on a Sprint Cup race car – well, that’s just something you won’t have the opportunity to participate in very often.”

Additionally, promotion winners were also treated to a VIP behind-the-scenes campus tour conducted by JGR Engineering Director Nelson Cosgrove that included visits to the race shop, the chassis fabrication shop, the dyno room, test rigs and more. Promotion winners concluded the eventful day by competing against one another in kart racing at Victory Lane Karting in Charlotte.

Winners of the Exclusive Master Technician Chassis Clinic were selected via drawing. After installing $500 of Raybestos Chassis Professional Grade parts, technicians were eligible submit their tally card for entry. Every qualified tally card earned a JGR Raybestos Chassis poster, a Raybestos sticker and a JGR ball cap. The first 100 submissions earned caps autographed by either Denny Hamlin or Kyle Busch.
