FOUNTAIN VALLEY, CA — Equus Products, a leading manufacturer and distributor of test equipment, gauges and tachometers for the automotive aftermarket, has announced the launch of its new INNOVA 3110 CanOBD2 Code Reader.

The new INNOVA 3110 CanOBD2 Code Reader is the next generation in code readers from Equus. The INNOVA 3110 CanOBD2 Code Reader is designed to appeal to a broad audience, including professional automotive technicians, do-it-yourselfers and consumers. According to the company it is its most powerful, easy-to-use and affordable tool for diagnosing “CHECK ENGINE” light warnings on any 1996 and newer car, light truck or SUV – foreign and domestic. It includes all of the functions that Innova’s first-generation OBD2 code reader offers, plus value-added features such as Controller Area Network (CAN) coverage, tri-lingual user interface and onscreen code definitions, upgradeable OBD-PC LinkT software, and more.

The Innova product design team developed a patented (U.S. Patent #6,687,584) display to show all necessary data on one screen, eliminating the need for scrolling and simplifying the testing process. The “plug and play” display that has made the first-generation OBD2 code reader so popular has been included on the new 3110 CanOBD2 unit.
