Eaton Reports Fourth Quarter Operating Earnings Per Share of $1.27, Up 18 Percent

DUBLIN – Eaton Corp. has announced operating earnings per share for the fourth quarter of $1.27, an increase of 18 percent over the fourth quarter of 2013.

Sales in the quarter were $5.6 billion, up 1 percent over the same period in 2013. Operating earnings for the fourth quarter of 2014, were $602 million compared to $516 million in the fourth quarter of 2013. This excludes charges of $32 million to integrate recent acquisitions.

The Vehicle segment posted sales of $965 million in the fourth quarter, up 4 percent over the fourth quarter of 2013. Operating profits were $163 million, up 28 percent over the fourth quarter of 2013.

PRT announced the launch of 59 new complete strut assemblies for the North American market.

The launch includes application coverage for Nissan Frontier, Toyota Highlander and Mercedes E-Class models, in addition to brand-new applications, such as the Dodge Durango 2022, the Ram ProMaster City 2022, and the Mazda CX-9 2022, among others, according to PRT.
