Eaton Names Pavan Pattada President, Vehicle Group, North America

Pattada most recently served as president, Truck North America, Vehicle Group. He will be based in Galesburg and Southfield, Michigan.

Eaton - Pavan PattadaEaton has announced that Pavan Pattada has been named president, Vehicle Group, North America, reporting to Ken Davis, president, Vehicle Group, effective Sept. 1. Pattada most recently served as president, Truck North America, Vehicle Group. He will be based in Galesburg and Southfield, Michigan.

“Pavan’s success in key roles at Eaton along with his range of experiences in operational and strategic roles and his focus on customers makes him the right person to lead our North American business,” said Davis. “This move creates a common alignment in all four of our regions and is a continuation of the Vehicle Group’s evolution that began in 2009. I am confident that Pavan is the right person to lead this organization as we continue to grow this important part of our business.”

Pattada joined Eaton in 2002 as the director of global sourcing for Corporate Supply Chain Management, was named general manager of Eaton’s Truck business in India in 2005, and in 2009 became director of operations for Truck North America. Prior to his most recent position with Eaton, Pattada was the vice president of business development for the industrial sector.

Before joining Eaton, Pattada held a series of managerial and consulting positions with Deloitte Consulting in Cleveland, Ohio, and was a chief officer, ship operations with Dole Fresh Fruit Inc. in Costa Rica.

Pattada holds a master’s degree in strategy and administration from Duke University in North Carolina, and a bachelor’s degree from L.B.S. College of Advanced Maritime Studies in Mumbai, India.
