Dynabrade Launches Operations in India

CLARENCE, NY — Dynabrade, Inc., a manufacturer of abrasive power tools, has launched operations in India. Dynabrade India Abrasive Power Tools Pvt. Ltd. begins operations this month.

Nischal Sachdev, a native of India, will serve as managing director. The headquarters will be based in Mumbai, with regional representation in Bangalore and Delhi. The Mumbai office will house sales and marketing, warehousing, plus technical and repair training.

“We are thrilled to be in India. We have been working toward this for 18 months,” said Chip Case, vice president of international markets, at a press conference to mark the occasion.

The company was founded in 1969 by current President Walter Welsch, inventor of the Dynafile Abrasive Belt Tool. Through the years Dynabrade earned a leadership position in the design and manufacture of innovative abrasive power tools for grinding, deburring, sanding, polishing and finishing. These tools meet the needs of industries such as automotive manufacturing and the automotive aftermarket, solid surface, fiberglass, marine metalworking, woodworking and more.

Dynabrade’s world headquarters is located in Clarence, NY, with additional subsidiaries in Luxembourg and Brazil. The products are sold through a worldwide network of industrial distributors in more than 80 countries.
