DENSO to Close Manufacturing Facility in Poland

DENSO Corp. announced today that it will close its manufacturing facility in Sosnowiec, Poland. The company plans to shift operations from this plant to its facility in San Salvo, Italy. The plant produces automotive motors including starters and wiper motors.

TOKYO — DENSO Corp. announced today that it will close its manufacturing facility in Sosnowiec, Poland. The company plans to shift operations from this plant to its facility in San Salvo, Italy. The plant produces automotive motors including starters and wiper motors.

The owner of the building leased by DENSO’s Poland operations decided to discontinue the lease with DENSO in order to expand its own operations. Operations at the plant will close by the end of March 2005.
