Delphi Showcases Products, Adds Training at AAPEX

Delphi showcased a handful of its 496 parts that it released in 2023 at its AAPEX booth.

At the 2023 AAPEX Show, Delphi/Phinia showcased parts from each of its product lines on display for both light and heavy-duty applications, as well as test benches. Many of these were included in Delphi’s fourth quarter new number announcement, released October 25th, that added 104 parts to its portfolio. Overall, Delphi said it has released a total of 496 parts to its fuel management, vehicle electronics, steering and suspension and Sparta lines in 2023.

In addition, Delphi introduced remanufactured diesel F2E injectors. This Volvo®/Mack application incorporates a common rail fuel system utilizing three pumping and three non-pumping injectors, a design that eliminates the need for additional pumping elements, Phinia said.

“We’re excited to demonstrate how our portfolio has grown over the last year,” said Jenna Boone, vice president and general manager of North America Aftermarket. “We’ve launched nearly 500 parts in 2023, expanded our diesel part coverage to include remanufactured F2E injectors for Mack/Volvo applications. In addition, we are expanding our training opportunities. Delphi is a trusted partner in the aftermarket repair environment, and we’re dedicated to providing the products and technical solutions designed to help you stay ahead.”

Highlights of Delphi’s added coverage this year include:

  • An addition of 53 parts to Delphi’s fuel management line, covering 38 million vehicles in operation (VIO) in the United States and Canada;
  • The release of 65 parts across eight part types in the Sparta fuel line, designed for higher mileage and earlier model vehicles.
  • An addition of 211 new parts in its vehicle electronics line, representing more than 261 million in VIO coverage for the United States and Canada. Part types announced include ABS wheel speed sensors and Manifold Absolute Pressure (MAP) sensors;
  • An addition of 167 steering and suspension parts, including alignment parts, amounting to over 135 million in VIO coverage for the United States and Canada.

For commercial vehicle distributors and technicians, Delphi showcased an HPI Application Kit for the Hartridge HK1400 Cambox. The HK1400 is an all-makes solution for testing electronic unit injectors and electronic unit pumps. The HPI Application Kit is a set of dedicated ancillary hardware that replicates real-world conditions for accurate HPI testing.

The Hartridge Sabre CRi Expert was also be displayed at the show. This compact, all-makes Common Rail Injector Tester comes with test plans, test steps, injector coding feature and a 2700bar rail pressure range enabling testing of LD, MD and HD common rail applications

Also at AAPEX, Delphi/Phinia hosted live training sessions led by ASE-certified Master trainers.
