Delphi Names Kitchin & Sons 2010 Sales Agency of the Year

Fourth-generation owned company acknowledged for exceptional sales, customer service and support of company's objectives.

TROY, Mich. — Kitchin & Sons Inc. has been named the Delphi Sales Agency of the Year in the aftermarket, recognizing the agency’s excellent customer service, sales performance and support of Delphi company initiatives. Kitchin & Sons is based in Richmond, Ind., and represents Delphi in Michigan, Indiana, Ohio and Kentucky. Delphi announced Kitchin & Sons as this year’s recipient during its annual press conference at AAPEX, held earlier this month in Las Vegas.

"Kitchin & Sons has been our agency in the Midwest since 2001 and we are proud they are part of the Delphi family," said Malcolm Sissmore, vice president, sales, North America, Delphi Product & Service Solutions. "Tom Kitchin and his team have been huge drivers in growing the Delphi brand and business within the aftermarket. In 2010, they really raised the bar through increased sales growth, training, promotional activity and customer service. They are a true ambassador for Delphi in the aftermarket."

Delphi’s 11 United States and Canada sales agencies compete annually for this award, which ranks agencies on a number of criteria, including increasing market penetration, new business growth, customer satisfaction and program/promotion support.

"We are honored to be recognized as Delphi’s 2010 top performing sales agency," said Tom Kitchin, president, Kitchin & Sons Inc. "We look forward to our long-term partnership with Delphi for many years. The products speak for themselves – OE technologies by a company with the benefits of more than 100 years of OE heritage. They are the company that makes the parts cars are born with."
