DEI Powersports Releases New Heat Shield Liner Kit For Indian Scout

DEI Powersports Releases New Heat Shield Liner Kit For Indian Scout

The liners are precision cut and designed to slide in between the exhaust pipe and the heat shield, reducing heat transfer and lowering the surface temperatures of the outer shield.

DEI - Indian ScoutWith its fresh styling and low seat height, DEI Powersports says the new Indian Scout has quickly become a favorite for new riders and seasoned riders. However, like a lot of new bikes, the heat from the exhaust system can become uncomfortable, especially riding in slow traffic. This issue is even more prevalent for riders with shorter legs, according to the company.

DEI now offers an easy-to-install liner kit that addresses this issue without altering the look of the bike. The liners are precision cut and designed to slide in between the exhaust pipe and the heat shield, reducing heat transfer and lowering the surface temperatures of the outer shield.

Easy to install, with no permanent modifications needed, each kit includes shield liners, stainless steel mounting hardware and installation roller, the company says.
