Dayco Names Phil Liu General Manager Of Aftermarket Business In China

Prior to joining Dayco, Liu most recently served as sales director for the suspension technology business unit of ZF Friedrichshafen AG. At ZF, Liu managed both the aftermarket and OE sales departments and helped triple sales during his 10 years with the company.

Dayco - LogoDayco announced that Phil Liu has joined the company as general manager of its aftermarket business in China. In this role, Liu will manage all sales, logistics, product management, marketing and application engineering functions.

“As the Dayco leadership team in China strives to enhance our business in this growing market, improving the aftermarket team’s capabilities and leveraging cross-functional support is vital to our success,” said John Bohenick, CEO of Dayco. “We will continue to invest in economies and markets worldwide to increase customer support by providing industry-leading products, systems and services.”

Prior to joining Dayco, Liu most recently served as sales director for the suspension technology business unit of ZF Friedrichshafen AG. At ZF, Liu managed both the aftermarket and OE sales departments and helped triple sales during his 10 years with the company. Liu has also held sales leadership positions at Shanghai Yanfeng Johnson Controls Seating Co. and Murata Electronics Trading.

“Due to the complexity of the aftermarket business in China, it is extremely important we have a general manager capable of providing leadership, and Phil Liu brings those leadership qualities to Dayco,” said Charlie Qiu, president for Dayco China. “His rich experience in the automotive industry in China, along with his strategic thinking, integrity and leadership, will help lead the Dayco Aftermarket business in China to success.”
