CHARLOTTE, NC — American Car Care Centers’ (ACCC) national network of more than 1,100 dealers will sell Continental and General branded tires as “primary choices of branded products,” due to a “long-term” agreement between Continental Tire North America Inc. (CTNA) and ACCC.
The agreement was signed on Apr. 20 during the ACCC board of directors meeting in Charlotte, N.C. The agreement details growth targets, promotion, signage and display material within ACCC retail locations.
“CTNA’s strong OE presence is very important, but equally important is the new direction the company has taken,” commented Len Lewin, president and COO for ACCC. “The signing of this agreement clearly indicates we believe in the direction and wish to support it.”
“This is a significant step forward and a key element of our overall business strategy,” said Andreas Gerstenberger, vice president of sales and marketing for CTNA’s passenger and light truck replacement business unit.
