ASPA, created in March 2002, consists of members who manufacture a wide array of product types, including lubricants, engine coolants, cleaners/degreasers, fuel additives, oils, automotive paints, aerosol cans/components, polishes, solvents and finishes. ASPA combines the efforts of the Automotive Aftermarket Industry Association (AAIA), the Chemical Specialty Products Association (CSPA), and the Motor & Equipment Manufacturers Association (MEMA) to form a unified industry voice for their members engaged in the automotive chemical and vehicle appearance products markets.

The third annual ASPA meeting is set for Thursday, April 15, at the Sheraton Wild Horse Pass Resort and Spa in Phoenix, Ariz. The deadline to reserve a hotel room for the meeting is Tuesday, March 9.

Fraser is the featured “ASPA Retail Luncheon” speaker, sponsored by Advanstar Automotive. Venturini will lead a CARB video conference presentation, which will update ASPA members on current and upcoming regulations that will affect automotive product manufacturers. This presentation will also be an opportunity for participants to pose questions to this important regulatory agency.
