CRANBURY, N.J. — CRP Industries has announced the move of its corporate headquarters and warehouse space to Cranbury, N.J. from its former location in Carteret, N.J.
CRP Industries designed the new 108,000-square-foot facility to maximize efficiency and address future growth opportunities. “Though our Carteret facility served CRP well for over 45 years, the time had come where we had completely outgrown that space. After carefully considering our options, we decided to build our new NAFTA Market headquarters only 25 miles away,” said Dan Schildge, president of CRP Industries.
All operations and employees have officially relocated to the new office and warehouse space which includes green building initiatives with a white roof to reflect the sun reducing heat transfer, a reinforced roof structure to accommodate an array of solar panels in the future, a recycling program as well as motion-sensored lighting.
The new facility includes a workflow efficient assembly and production shop and an office/work station design that is conducive to improved communication between key functional departments. With more bay doors the company is able to handle additional incoming freight in a more timely manner while also processing outgoing orders more quickly with faster sorting and picking.
“This new facility dramatically increases our efficiency and the larger space allows us to maximize our performance while giving us plenty of room for growth. We can continue to be totally customer-oriented in our operations,” added Schildge.
