Continental Named World’s 3rd Most Valuable Tire Brand For Ninth Time

Continental Named To Brand Finance List

The company has been named the world’s third most valuable tire brand for 2021.

Continental, one of the largest tire and automotive technology suppliers in the world, has been named the world’s third most valuable tire brand for 2021. This marks the brand’s ninth consecutive year the company has ranked in the top three, and coincides with the company’s 150th year in business.

The Automotive Industry 2021 rankings were released on March 9 by Brand Finance.

“Continental has brought leading products and solutions to our fleet and dealer customers for 150 years,” said Carolina Wagner, head of marketing for Truck Tires U.S. “The strength of our brand is in the value we bring to our customers.”

Continental sold almost 130 million car and truck tires worldwide in 2020, making it one of the top five largest tire manufacturers worldwide. By connecting tires with sensor systems, algorithms and the cloud, Continental is paving the way for the future of tire monitoring. This enables fleets of all sizes to increase uptime and reduce costs, through close partnerships with Continental servicing dealers.

Continental develops pioneering technologies to make commercial fleets safer, more efficient, and more connected. With innovative tire technology and digital fleet solutions, Continental optimizes tire lifecycle management to deliver the Lowest Overall Driving Cost to fleets and become the preferred partner to our independent tire dealers. Continental is currently one of the five largest brands in medium/heavy truck tires in the U.S. by market share.
