Continental Honors DuPont With Top Supplier Award

DuPont recognized by Continental for outstanding quality performance.

For the fourth year in a row, DuPont Mobility & Materials has received a Supplier of the Year award from Continental. DuPont was once again recognized as a reliable supplier for Continental’s advanced dynamic solutions division, providing outstanding quality performance across all locations.

DuPont supplies Zytel nylon resin across Europe and China to enable solutions in structural automotive components and Hytrel resin for Constant Velocity Joint (CVJ) boots.

“We are both proud and humbled to have received this outstanding recognition for a fourth year in a row,” said Rudy van Engen, Sales Director, EMEA at DuPont. “This success is the result of our team’s commitment to working closely with Continental and to continuously innovating while providing technical and commercial excellence.”

“Reliable partnerships are particularly important to us because they make a decisive contribution to the company’s success,” added Hicran Hayik-Koller, Global Cluster Purchase Manager (resins and chemicals), Advanced Dynamics Solutions Business Unit at Continental. “DuPont operates globally and provides us with quality materials and services that are innovative and sustainable.”

The technology company Continental, one of the world’s largest industry and automotive suppliers and a global customer for DuPont, has given this award every year since 2008 based on a comprehensive review of strategic suppliers using a rigorous assessment system. DuPont was selected as one of five suppliers from a field of more than 170 nominees following a rigorous assessment that comprised a range of criteria including: quality, technology, logistics, total cost and general terms.
