RESEARCH TRIANGLE PARK, NC — MEMA is teaming with Babcox Publications to publish a special commemorative issue of its quarterly magazine, Focus, in June 2004 to mark the association’s 100th anniversary.

Launched by MEMA in 2002, Focus examines critical issues and challenges facing today’s OE, aftermarket and heavy duty suppliers and is distributed to members of MEMA’s three market segment associations: Automotive Aftermarket Suppliers Association (AASA), Heavy Duty Manufacturers Association (HDMA) and Original Equipment Suppliers Association (OESA).

This special edition will be a collector’s item, produced in “coffee-table” quality. The magazine will commemorate the past 100 years of contributions that suppliers and individuals have made to the original equipment, aftermarket and heavy duty industries, a historic timeline and many historic photos from MEMA and its member companies.

It will be distributed to all MEMA members, which include more than 4,000 executives from the more than 700 member companies of MEMA’s three market segment associations. Also in June, the magazine will be distributed to the entire readership of Babcox’s Counterman magazine, which reaches more than 50,000 readers across the entire automotive aftermarket distribution channel.

Sponsorship opportunities in this special edition of Focus are available and include a half- or full-page ad in the magazine and additional copies. For details on sponsorship, contact Jon Owens at Babcox, 330-670-1234, ext. 229, or [email protected].
