Centric Parts Launches New Clutch Program and Catalog

The Centric Parts Clutch Systems Program and related catalog offer a complete range of Centric Parts clutch sets, flywheels, clutch cables, hoses and hydraulics including a substantial range of pre-filled assemblies. The new program will begin shipping immediately.

LOS ANGELES – Centric Parts, manufacturer and supplier of aftermarket brake components and systems, says it is taking its automotive aftermarket expertise in a new direction with the launch of a comprehensive clutch program and catalog. The Centric Parts Clutch Systems Program and 2011 Clutch Systems Catalog (1938-2011) exhibit Centric Parts’ long-standing dedication to durability, quality and performance in the automotive aftermarket, the company noted.

The Centric Parts Clutch Systems Program and related catalog offer a complete range of Centric Parts clutch sets, flywheels, clutch cables, hoses and hydraulics including a substantial range of pre-filled assemblies. The new program will begin shipping immediately.

“Centric Parts’ considerable experience and knowledge in the automotive aftermarket from the track to the garage has helped bring this new and additional direction for our company to fruition,” said Dan Lelchuk, president of Centric Parts. “All in all, the Centric Parts New Clutch Systems program will give Centric Parts distributors a clear advantage in the market, supported by our ‘Right Part, Right Place, Right Time’ policy.”

The Centric Parts Clutch Set program offers coverage for more than 95 percent of the light vehicles on the road, ranging from model years 1938 to 2011. The program also features variable torque performance clutch sets that are specially designed to add clamp load as engine RPMs increase to maintain optimum power for each applications peak torque RPM range, dual mass and solid flywheels and heavy-duty options featuring ceramic button discs.

All clutch sets feature OEM look, fit, function and reliability engineered to meet or surpass the OEM minimum of 1 million clutch engagements, according to Centric. Centric Parts new clutch sets include new computer-tested OEM style cover assemblies, new OEM style clutch discs with non-asbestos facings and new clutch release bearings. When appropriate, new pilot bearings/bushings, alignment tools and hydraulic line disconnect tools are also included.

The Centric Parts New Flywheel Program represents a competitively-priced alternative to resurfacing old flywheels and offers coverage of more than 90 percent of new clutch set sales. These include dual mass flywheels and dual mass flywheel conversion kits. New flywheels help reduce clutch warranty claims, according to Centric, and eliminate problems from thin, over-machined old flywheels and means there is no core charge or core rejection. All Centric Parts flywheels are developed, built and tested to OEM specifications, the company adds.

The Centric Parts Clutch Systems Catalog includes listings for clutch sets, flywheels, clutch hydraulics hoses and lines, clutch master and slave cylinders, pre-filled assemblies and clutch cables. More than 40 technical bulletins are included in the catalog and are referenced throughout the listings.

The Centric Parts New Clutch Systems Program joins the Centric Parts Wheel Bearing and Seal Program introduced in 2009.
