Carquest by Advance, an auto parts retailer that is part of the Advance Auto Parts family of brands, is celebrating its grand opening in Marengo. A special event took place Sunday, Oct. 8 at the store, located at 4789 State Route 229. The store is owned and operated by father-and-daughter team Burgess and Kaily Jo Castle as Castle Auto Parts, Advance said.
The Castles’ Carquest by Advance caters to do-it-yourselfers and professional customers across Morrow County, offering name-brand automotive products including DieHard auto batteries. Local motorists also have access to free curbside services provided by the store team, including battery testing and installation, wiper blade installation and curbside and in-store pickup for online orders. The store also offers heavy-duty and agricultural products, including filters and custom-length hydraulic hoses.
“As longtime residents of Morrow County, our family is thrilled to join the local business community with the opening of our new Carquest by Advance,” said Kaily Jo Castle. “While we’re a new presence in town, our team has years of automotive and heavy-duty experience and a superior parts network to help local DIYers, auto repair shops and other small business owners find the parts they need. It’s an honor for us to be part of the Carquest family of independent store partners, and we look forward to serving customers for years to come.”
