Car Care Council Women’s Board Announces the 2007 Automotive Communications Awards

BETHESDA, MD – The Car Care Council Women’s Board, along with the Automotive Communication Council, are now accepting submissions for the 2007 Automotive Communications Awards (ACA). The awards will be presented during the Women’s Board reception on Tuesday, Oct. 30, during Automotive Aftermarket Industry Week in Las Vegas.

The Automotive Communications Awards applaud those companies and agencies that provide automotive information to consumers and the trade professionals who interact with them on a daily basis. Whether it is through outstanding advertising, marketing, merchandising and/or effective public relations, these two organizations would like to recognize the industry’s outstanding efforts through the ACA competition.

National awards will be presented in each category. Any client, agency or supplier who has produced automotive advertising, marketing, merchandising and/or public relations targeted to consumers or the trade is eligible. All entries must be based on 2006 campaigns.

“With consumers becoming more interested than ever about their cars, the ACA awards recognize the companies who have gone the extra mile when it comes to communicating the importance of proper vehicle maintenance,” said Katie Noga, president, Car Care Council Women’s Board. “I look forward to seeing everyone at the reception and to congratulating the 2007 award recipients.”

Entries for the 2007 Automotive Communications Awards are due by Friday, Sept. 7. Entry fees are $145 for the initial entry and $95 for each additional entry, and should be made payable to the Car Care Council Women’s Board. Entry forms can be found at http://women.carcare.org.
