Car Care Council Women’s Board 2008 Winter Meeting Registration Now Available

BETHESDA, MD – Registration is now available for the 2008 Car Care Council Women’s Board winter meeting, which takes place Jan. 30-31 at Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort in Lake Buena Vista, FL. The bi-annual Women’s Board meeting features day and a half of strategic planning geared toward encouraging women to enter the industry and consumer education.

Registration includes a group dinner on Wednesday, Jan. 30, and breakfast, lunch and cocktail reception on Thursday, Jan. 31, as well as a presentation from keynote speaker Bud Bilanich, "The Common Sense Guy" (www.budbilanich.com), and an exclusive Walt Disney World tour, "Disney By Design." The tour allows attendees to discover the techniques and "tricks of the trade" used by Disney artists, designers and landscapers to turn resorts, theme parks and office buildings at the Walt Disney World Resort into masterpieces of illusion.

In addition, there will be a presentation by Steve Hoellein, general manager, Felt Auto Parts, about industry recruitment, and a presentation by Chuck Udell, partner, Essential Action Design Group titled, “Who’s Going to Fix Your Cars – Who Are You Going to Sell Your Parts to in 2012?”

Women’s Board members will also meet in their work group committees, which include scholarship, recruitment and new members, consumer education, industry relations and membership and special programs, to develop strategies and tactics for 2008.
