The Alliance of Automotive Service Providers (AASP) has announced that the Chesapeake Automotive Business Association (CABA) has joined the association as an affiliate member.

Nearly 300 members strong, CABA represents automotive aftermarket businesses in Maryland, Delaware and Washington, DC. The association is dedicated to the development of locally owned auto repair and tire service centers and the aftermarket professionals who supply them. The Alliance of Automotive Service Providers is a coalition of associations, which serve more than 7,800 members of the automotive service industry.

"AASP is a powerful national movement," said CABA President Bob Wilson. "We are excited to become an affiliate with so many other successful state associations who also believe that success of the independent aftermarket depends on the success of the independent service center."

"CABA’s affiliation with AASP will enhance the strength and leadership of our association," said Pat Andersen, AASP president. "I am very proud that they have decided to affiliate with AASP and am looking forward to working with them on the AASP Board of Directors," he added.
