CABA Elects 2006 Board of Directors

Last week, elections at the annual membership meeting for the Chesapeake Automotive Business Association (CABA) filled six open seats on the 17-person board of directors for 2006. New to the CABA Board are Doug Meekins (Brooks-Huff Tire and Auto, Hunt Valley, MD) and Craig Fetter (Fetters Auto Repair, Baltimore, MD).

PASADENA, MD — Last week, elections at the annual membership meeting for the Chesapeake Automotive Business Association (CABA) filled six open seats on the 17-person board of directors for 2006. New to the CABA Board are Doug Meekins (Brooks-Huff Tire and Auto, Hunt Valley, MD) and Craig Fetter (Fetters Auto Repair, Baltimore, MD).

Four veteran board members were re-elected to two-year terms: Bill Cropper (Salisbury Automotive, Salisbury, MD), Gary Natella (Quality Automotive Warehouse, Baltimore, MD), John Obradovic (Hunter Engineering, Severna Park, MD) and Ralph Schissler (Atlantic Tire, Baltimore, MD).

The 2006 CABA board is now balanced by local area executives representing six service center operations, nine distribution companies and two manufacturers. Ten of the board members operate in the auto parts sector, six in the tire sector and one in the tool and equipment sector.

Other directors of the 2006 CABA board include: Bill Clark (Interstate Auto Parts), Paul Warner (Kunkel/Parts Depot), Marvin Miller (Mainline Auto Parts), Larry Singer (Mel-Jule Auto Supply), Mike Kress (Malboro Tire), Chris Lilly (Walforf Tire) and John Palumbo (Palumbo Car Care Center).

The officers and executive committee who are serving the last half of their two-year terms include: President John Harrison (Johnny’s Auto Service), first Vice President Len Gentilcore (Parts, Inc.), second Vice President Bob Wilson (Edgewater Tire & Auto Center) and Treasurer Bryan Smith (Standard Motor Products).

CABA is a 501(c) 6 not-for-profit membership trade association for automotive aftermarket businesses of Maryland, Washington D.C. and Delaware.
