CHANTILLY, Va. Bill Haas, business performance coach with the Educational Seminars Institute (ESi), will present two seminars during the Automotive Parts Remanufacturers Association’s (APRA) International BIG R Show, taking place Nov. 2-4 at the Tropicana Hotel in Las Vegas.
A “Learning Forum” program has been planned for the 2013 BIG R Show to help business owners increase profits. Comprised of several mini-seminars, this Learning Forum for Increased Profits will take place 9-11:30 a.m. on Sunday, Nov. 3, and is free to all convention attendees. During the session, Haas will talk about "Selling the Value Nobody Can Compete With." Today’s marketplace is more competitive than ever before. In this environment, companies are working hard to attract new customers’ interest and also stay “top-of-mind” with their established client base. During his presentation, Haas will share ways to make sure your company captures the maximum possible return on your marketing efforts.
On Monday, Nov. 4, Haas will address today’s diverse multi-generational workforce. With members of four different generations participating and contributing to produce goods and provide services, it is important that everyone in the company is working with the same goal in mind. We all grew up learning the "Golden Rule" treat others as you would like to be treated. Today, we should use a new Golden Rule, Haas advises: Treat others as they would like to be treated.
Haas brings 40 years of experience to ESi. He began his career in the automotive industry working part-time at a full service gasoline station in Appleton, Wis. His career has included working as a technician in a new car dealership and several independent shops, a shop manager, a parts counterman, a shop owner, a technical trainer and most recently on the staff of the automotive industry’s oldest and largest association representing automotive service and collision repair businesses.
