BROADVIEW, Ill. – Two stunning vehicles, the one-of-a-kind Bosch Iridium Edition Mustang RTR, custom-built by drifting champion Vaughn Gittin, Jr., and the Discovery Channel’s mighty Storm Chasers “Dominator 2” SUV, will be showcased in the Bosch exhibit at this year’s Automotive Aftermarket Products Exposition (AAPEX) in Las Vegas. 
The grand prize in Bosch’s Iridium Mustang RTR Sweepstakes, the 2011 Ford Mustang RTR, powered by Bosch Iridium spark plugs, was custom-built by Vaughn Gittin and will be on display and given away to the sweepstakes winner by Gittin in the Bosch exhibit (Booth No. 5038) at AAPEX on Wednesday, Nov. 2.
“The exciting RTR Mustang Sweepstakes was developed to promote our recently introduced, new-generation Bosch Iridium spark plugs,” said Pam Krebs, director of advertising and sales promotion for Bosch. “Our new Bosch Iridium, a fine-wire Iridium spark plug, brings the best in OE technology to the aftermarket, including a 360-degree, continuous, laser-welded iridium center electrode and the industry’s only laser-welded, iridium-platinum alloy ground electrode.
“We’re pleased to have these new spark plugs powering Vaughn Gittin’s drifting cars, and excited to have Vaughn give away the Iridium Edition Mustang RTR to the sweepstakes winner in our booth at AAPEX this year,” Krebs added.
The one-of-a-kind Bosch Iridium Edition Mustang RTR is valued at $50,000.
The RTR Mustang Sweepstakes winner will be drawn from all entries submitted, and will receive transportation for two to Las Vegas, a two-night hotel stay and admission to AAPEX. The Iridium Mustang RTR will shares the booth with the heavily armored and formidable Storm Chasers “Dominator 2” armored SUV — equipped with ICON beam blades to “clear the way.” It also will be on display in the Bosch exhibit throughout the AAPEX show. Bosch ICON beam wiper blades ensure that the Discovery Channel’s Storm Chasers have safe and clear vision when the dedicated team tackles destructive tornados, Bosch says.

According to Bosch, the Dominator utilizes three pairs of ICON beam blades, with unparalleled wiping efficiency and durability, to ensure the team can see where they are going as well as film some of nature’s most deadly forces. Bosch ICON beam wiper blades feature dual precision-tensioned internal springs and no external joints or brackets. ICON’s exclusive tension spring arcing technology provides custom curved left and right side windshield blades that are contoured to the variable curvature of the driver’s side and the passenger’s side of the windshield, the company says.
