Robert Bosch LLC has added 12 new SKUs to its product portfolio in May. The additions include Bosch QuietCast and Blue brake pads, spark plugs, rotating machines and Aerotwin and Twin wiper blades.
Coverage has been expanded for Bosch QuietCast and Blue Brake Pads for late-model Asian vehicles with two new brake pad set SKUs. One copper-free SKU with a hardware kit has been added to the QuietCast line that covers nearly 300,000 units in operation, including 2014 Hyundai Santa Fe, 2014 Hyundai Veloster and 2014 Kia Sorento. All Bosch premium QuietCast Brake Pads feature friction formulas specific to the application – semi-metallic, NAO or ceramic – and include synthetic lubricant in each package.
Bosch also has added one SKU to the Bosch Blue Brake Pad line. Bosch Blue Brake Pads are specially designed to deliver quality, value and performance to the ‘everyday driver.’ They are towel-wrapped in a material that is similar to the shop towels for additional protection. The new Bosch Blue SKU covers an additional 50,000 units in operation, such as the 2013-‘14 Nissan Leaf and 2013-‘14 Nissan NV 200.
This month, Bosch adds four new OE Specialty Spark Plugs to its portfolio. Together, they cover nearly 400,000 Asian, European and domestic vehicles in operation on U.S. roads. The Bosch OE Specialty laser-welded double platinum spark plug covers select 2014-‘15 Porsche models, including Turbos. There’s also the Bosch OE Specialty quick-heat super plus spark plug available for the 2008-‘09 Saturn Astra 1.8L. A Bosch OE Specialty laser-welded iridium pin-to-pin spark plug fits 2010-‘12 Hyundai Genesis Coupe 2.0L Turbo.
Finally, the Bosch OE Specialty laser-welded double platinum spark plug is available for a variety of BMW models including the 2011-‘14 BMW 335i, 335i xDrive 3.0L Turbo; 2011-‘14 BMW 535i, 535i GT, 535 xDrive; 535i GT xDrive 3.0L Turbo; 2013-‘14 BMW X1 3.0L Turbo; 2011-‘14 BMW X3 3.0L Turbo; 2011-‘14 BMW X5 3.0L Turbo; 2011-‘14 BMW X6 3.0L Turbo and more.
The Bosch Starting and Charging systems group has released four new part numbers covering 600,000 additional late-model European vehicles in operation. The new releases include both remanufactured and new Bosch starters and alternators for late-model Audi, VW and Mercedes-Benz applications including those equipped with start/stop technology.
New and remanufactured aftermarket starters released for start/stop applications include coverage for 2013-‘14 Mercedes Benz C300, C350, E350, GLK 350 and V6 Cyl.3.5L vehicles. Also covered are 2014-‘15 Mercedes Benz E250 and the 2015 Mercedes Benz ML250, L4 Cyl. 2.1L Turbocharged Diesel with start/stop systems.
The Bosch remanufactured alternator covers a variety of Audi and Volkswagen models including 2009-‘13 Audi A3; 2009-‘14 Audi A4 L4 Cyl. 2.0L; 2012-’13 Volkswagen Beetle; 2009-‘14 Volkswagen CC; 2010-‘13 Volkswagen Jetta; 2008-‘10 Volkswagen Passat.
Bosch alternators and starters are performance-tested for longer more reliable service and are designed to meet or exceed the manufacturers’ recommendations.
This month, Bosch is adding one new Aerotwin and one new Twin Wiper Blade set to its portfolio of windshield wiper blades. The single new extension to the Aerotwin line covers 400,000 late-model European vehicles in operation and is a direct OE replacement for vehicles requiring specific connection types. Bosch Aerotwin wiper blades feature an integrated wind spoiler design.
The Bosch Twin wiper blade offers a pre-assembled OE-style adapter available for various connection types. The single new addition is easy to install and covers 500,000 late-model European vehicles in operation.
The Bosch Aerotwin blade set (26-inch/26-inch) fits 2006-‘11 Mercedes Benz CLS-Series; 2008-‘09 Mercedes Benz E-Class; 2002-‘12 Mercedes Benz SL Class and more.
The Bosch Twin blade set (21-inch/21-inch) fits 1988-‘95 Audi 80 and 90; 1985-87 Audi 4000; 1990-‘91 Audi V8 Quattro; 2005 Land Rover Freelander; 1990-2002 Saab 9-3; 1991-‘97 Volvo 960 Series; 1998-2005 Volvo C70; 1999-2000 Volvo S70 and more.
