Bosch Announces North American Engine Management Program Warranty Update

Effective immediately, all Bosch Engine Management part numbers active in the North America catalog will be covered by a limited lifetime warranty.

Robert Bosch LLC has announced an update to its North American Engine Management warranty program. Effective now, all Bosch Engine Management part numbers active in the North America catalog will be covered by a limited lifetime warranty.

Bosch - Logo“Bosch Engine Management parts are of the highest OE quality, helping ensure efficient technician repairs and increased engine performance for the motorist,” said Jarod Adams, director, product marketing, Bosch Automotive Aftermarket NA. “The new Bosch Engine Management limited lifetime warranty backs up that quality and gives both the technician and his or her customer additional peace of mind.”

Automotive technology is using an increasing number of engine management components that ensure the proper function of vehicle systems. These systems are providing the conveniences that today’s drivers want, and the safety and efficiency solutions they need.

An overall engine downsizing trend, coupled with increased vehicle complexity, has resulted in a cost increase associated with many engine management repairs. The company says this makes the Bosch Engine Management limited lifetime warranty a valuable sales tool for any engine repair job, covering a wide range of parts including:

  • Air management sensors
  • Engine position sensors
  • Gasoline fuel injectors
  • High pressure (GDI) fuel pumps
  • Ignition coils
  • Pressure sensors
  • Temperature sensors
  • Throttle devices
