AUBURN HILLS, MI — In order to meet increasing demand for engine timing systems, BorgWarner has nearly doubled the size of its Engine Group manufacturing facility in Pyongtaek, South Korea. "Throughout Asia, the demand for high-performance engine timing systems is expected to grow more than 30 percent over the next five years," said Alfred Weber, president and general manager, BorgWarner Morse TEC. We are pleased to deliver our engine timing system technology with the benefits of excellent performance, timing precision, durability and ease of installation to our Asian customers."

BorgWarner opened its Engine Group campus in Pyongtaek in 2003 to support the company’s growing business relationship with Hyundai/Kia Motor Co. Today, the campus produces Morse TEC engine timing products as well as Turbo & Emissions Systems turbochargers.
