Michelin North America’s BFGoodrich brand is launching a new national television and enthusiast magazine advertising campaign, kicking the effort off during CBS broadcasts of NCAA college basketball tournament games.
The 30-second TV spots will feature a number of motorsport personalities, including X-Games rally champion Travis Pastrana, two-time Formula Drift champ Samuel Hubinette, Baja 1000 winner Larry Roeseler, and rock crawling champion Tracy Jordan. The spots are set to run during the basketball tournament, during CBS’ “Road to the Final Four” pre-game show and during various automotive shows on Speed Channel, Spike TV and other networks.
The brand will also sponsor the “BFGoodrich Tires Road Crew Challenge,” a series of driving events “showcasing some of college basketball’s most passionate fans alongside BFG product.”
The new TV spots will begin running this weekend and continue during weekend basketball games through Mar. 25.
In addition, BFGoodrich will continue to run ads in automotive publications.
