ELYRIA, OHIO — Completing its leadership team selection, Bendix Spicer Foundation Brake LLC, a new joint venture between Bendix Commercial Vehicle Systems LLC and Dana Corp., announced the appointment of Bill Mossing as assistant general manager. Mossing will join Kishor Pendse, president of the new business.
Bendix Spicer Foundation Brake integrates the braking systems expertise from Bendix and the Knorr-Bremse Group with the axle and brake integration capability of Dana, making available a comprehensive range of wheel-end brake products, including S-Cam, air disc brakes, slack adjusters and actuators, as well as a full array of related aftermarket parts for medium- and heavy-duty commercial vehicles.
Bill Mossing, who will begin his post on September 1, most recently served as director of operations for Dana’s Commercial Vehicle Systems division. As a part of the joint venture leadership team, he will be responsible for the operational performance of the joint venture, including quality, supply chain and advanced manufacturing engineering. He will also lead the integration efforts as the two parent organizations bring the new operation to market.
Kishor Pendse, who assumed the role of joint venture president on July 1, 2004, most recently served as vice president and general manager of the Bendix wheel-end business team, a position he was appointed to in January 2004. He joined Bendix in September 2003 as vice president and general manager of charging systems.
Prior to Bendix, Pendse spent 20 years in various leadership positions within TRW’s automotive business, including president of a steering gear manufacturing joint venture and other executive-level positions in technology, market planning and customer development.
