SYMRNA, TN — Beck/Arnley announced the opening of its sixth Customer Care Center, located in Dallas, Texas. Additional Customer Care Centers are located in Stockton, Calif., Los Angeles, Calif., Chicago, Ill., Harrisburg, Pa., and Miami, Fla.
According to Max Dull, vice president and general manager of Beck/Arnley, the company has achieved its goal of launching six centers by early 2004.
“As part of our intensive efforts to be a business totally focused on customer needs, we conducted various focus group studies and interviewed many customers,” said Dull. “We found that our customers wanted local availability to inventory and needed same-day turn around on special orders. In 2003 the first Beck/Arnley Customer Care Center opened in Los Angeles, Calif. and opening the center in Dallas, Texas, completes this phase of our original plan.”
The new Beck/Arnley Customer Care Centers are strategically located in market areas where the population of foreign nameplate vehicles is highest. The company said it plans to evaluate market conditions and customer needs on a regular basis to determine if additional Customer Care Centers will be opened in the future.
Beck/Arnley stock orders will continue to be shipped from its master distribution center in Smyrna, Tenn.
“We can best meet our customers’ expectations of consistent turn-around time and high fill rate on large orders by shipping normal stock orders from our master distribution center,” said Dull. “The Customer Care Centers have inventory that is profiled to match the vehicle population of the specific market area where they are located. Each Customer Care Center is designed to complement our total distribution network, in order to provide our reselling customers with fast and reliable service, so they can meet the needs of their customers. We now have total flexibility to react quickly to the special needs of our distribution partners anywhere in the country.”
