The National Advisory Council of the Automotive Distribution Network recently met in Montreal, Quebec, to provide feedback on the group’s latest IT solutions and product and marketing programs. During the proceedings, the Network Council also toured Spectra Premium’s 475,000-square-foot manufacturing facilities in nearby Boucherville and Laval.

Automotive Network - Logo“Comprised of Network WD members, jobbers and service dealers representing a cross-section of towns big and small, the Network’s National Advisory Council serves as a sounding board to help the group continue to develop programs that offer real-world solutions,” said Bob Barstow, the Network’s vice president of marketing. “Manufacturer tours have become a staple of these Council gatherings, providing unique insights into the products offered by the group’s primary vendor partners.”

During the tour of Spectra Premium’s state-of-the-art facilities, manufacturer reps provided an overview of quality-control procedures and addressed any product questions for the Network council members in attendance.

“I was impressed that every single Spectra Premium fuel pump, radiator and fuel tank is pressure-tested before being shipped,” says Council member Bill Baxter, owner of Cincinnati-based ProTech. “After observing Spectra’s standards in person, I feel confident that I’m installing a quality product with Spectra Premium.”
