BETHESDA, Md. The Auto International Association (AIA), a segment of the Automotive Aftermarket Industry Association (AAIA), will present, “Import Parts Explosion: Are You Taking Your Fair Share?” as part of the AAPEX Learning Forum. The presentation will take place from 7:30-8:45 a.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 30 in The Venetian Hotel, Level 1, Marco Polo Room 704 in Las Vegas.
This session will cover what it takes to be a major player in the import parts arena and will include how to focus on more than just fast-moving import part numbers and look at big picture sales potential; how to better compete with the dealer network in application coverage for vehicles in your market; and how to better establish your store(s) as the “go-to” specialist(s) for import part coverage and be the “first call” for more repair shop customers.
A panel of industry experts, moderated by Martin Gold, S-G Import Parts, includes Andy Anders, eastern sales manager, Robert Bosch LLC; Craig Barnes, vice president, Delphi Product & Service Solutions; Francis Labun, vice president-sales group, DENSO; and David Segal, president, Automotive Supply Associates.
All AAPEX education sessions are free. The AAPEX Learning Forum will take place from Monday, Oct. 29 through Thursday, Nov. 1 at The Venetian Hotel, on the Venetian/Palazzo Congress Center Level 1, Marco Polo Rooms 701 706. Although some sessions are recommended for specific aftermarket audiences, everyone is welcome to attend any session.
