Authorized Transmission Remanufacturing Moves Into New Modern Facility

ATR remanufactures all models of Allison Transmissions, GM, Ford and Chrysler light duty fleet transmissions, and also serves the growing import truck transmission market for Isuzu, Hino, Sprinter and Mitsubishi.

MUNDELEIN, Ill. – Authorized Transmission Remanufacturing Inc. (ATR), a national supplier of fleet transmissions throughout the U.S. and Canada, has moved into a new 100,000-square-foot, world class remanufacturing plant located in Mundelein, Ill. This modern facility provides ATR with the needed space and resources to meet its growing business.

The new plant has an enclosed cleaning/processing department, sound proof dyno testing area, large remanufacturing area for cellular and rebuilder work stations, employee and customer training room and a large parts department and warehousing for its product line.

ATR remanufactures all models of Allison Transmissions, GM, Ford and Chrysler light duty fleet transmissions, and also serves the growing import truck transmission market for Isuzu, Hino, Sprinter and Mitsubishi. ATR customers include waste haulers, ready mix fleets, school bus operators, bottling fleets, delivery companies, OE manufacturers, distributors and others.

ATR said it is also nearing completion of its ISO 9001:2008 Quality Certification through Perry Johnson Registrars.
