ATK Names Dan Belling President

Dan Belling, vice president of sales and marketing for ATK North America, has been promoted to the position of president. As president, Belling will be responsible for all of ATK’s U.S. operations. American Axle CFO Robin Adams Rejoins BorgWarner

Former American Axle and BorgWarner exec Robin Adams has rejoined the company to take on the positions of executive vice president, chief financial officer (CFO) and chief administrative officer. Adams replaces William Cline who has been serving as acting CFO for the company.Adams most recently served as executive vice president of finance and CFO for American Axle and Manufacturing. Prior to that he was with BorgWarner for 13 years, serving as vice president and treasurer from 1993 to 1999.

Right to Repair Act Sponsors Grow to 90

Another legislator has added his name to the growing list of proponents for the Motor Vehicle Owners’ Right to Repair Act, H.R. 2735. Rep. John P. Gingrey, R-Ga., has agreed to support the bill, taking the total number of cosponsors to 90. The legislation would ensure that the independent aftermarket has affordable and effective access to the service information and tools needed to compete with new car dealers for the repair of late model vehicles.
