CHICAGO The Automotive Training Managers Council (ATMC) will hold its Fall 2006 Conference and Business Meeting Sept. 10-12 at the Sheraton Four Points Chicago O’Hare, in Schiller Park.
Highlights of this year’s conference include a field seminar titled, “The Entry-Level Pathway for the International Technician” from International Truck and Engine; a tour of Universal Technical Institute (UTI) and keynote speaker Mac Fulfer (http://www.amazingfacereading.com) who will conduct an engaging and interactive session on “face reading.”
The theme for the Fall conference is “Training for Technical Diversity.” Conference sessions will include presentations on “The Energy Literate Technician,” “Training Technicians and Clean Fuel,” “First Responders and Hybrids” and “Electronic Control Systems for Clean Diesels.”
The Fall conference kicks off with a reception dinner cruise on Sept.10 aboard the Mystic Blue on Lake Michigan, and includes the “Training Vendors Mini Expo,” where attendees can talk directly with training vendors on the latest products and services for our industry. An optional networking dinner wraps up the conference at renowned Miller’s Pub in downtown Chicago.
