CHARLOTTE, NC — American Tire Distributors Inc. (ATD) has reached an agreement to acquire Jim Paris Tire City of Montebello Inc.
ATD will purchase Jim Paris Tire’s two wholesale distribution centers in Denver and Grand Junction, CO, which currently service approximately 1,500 customers. The deal does not include Jim Paris Tire’s retail stores.
The move will expand ATD’s service across the entire state of Colorado.

They have built a solid business based on strong management, efficient operations, and, most importantly, an unwavering commitment to customer service,” said Richard “Dick” Johnson, chairman and CEO of ATD. “The Jim Paris Tire operation, including its strong team of people, will be an excellent complement to our current distribution center network in the Intermountain West,” Johnson said.
