Associated Equipment Announces New Smart Battery Chargers

There are three new ATEC 6/12V smart charger models: 3055A, 3075A and 3100A. All three models feature automatic bad battery detection, engine start and an LED digital display indicating charging voltage, amperage, charge time and countdown for start function.

“Our new smart bench charger line is capable of charging all battery types, including AGM and Gel, to provide a more competitive product for today’s market,” said Kimberly Cottle, president and CEO of Associated Equipment. “We continue to lead the market in professional quality battery management tools and equipment. Our company has a 68-year history of quality, innovative products and this is another step in technology advancement.”

There are three new ATEC 6/12V smart charger models: 3055A, 3075A and 3100A. All three models feature automatic bad battery detection, engine start and an LED digital display indicating charging voltage, amperage, charge time and countdown for start function. The three new models will be available in March 2016.

“Customers are really pleased with our new portable chargers; they asked for them and we listened. Over 20 million vehicles are equipped with AGM batteries, making a greater need for smart chargers throughout the aftermarket. Associated has pioneered AGM charging technology since introducing our first Intellamatic charger in 1999,” said Gary Mackey, vice president of global sales and marketing for Associated Equipment.
