ASA Announces Collision Division, Mechanical Division Operations Committees

Automotive Service Association (ASA) members have elected committee members for its Collision and Mechanical Divisions. Michael Anderson of Wagonwork Collision Center in Alexandria, Va., has been appointed Collision Division Director. Anderson will serves on ASA’s board of directors and will chair the 2004 ASA Collision Division Operations Committee. ASA members have also elected Earl Dohner, AAM, of E&E’s Garage in Brookville, Ohio, as Mechanical Division Director. Dohner will serve on ASA’s board of directors and will chair the 2004 ASA Mechanical Division Operations Committee.

BEDFORD, TEXAS — Automotive Service Association (ASA) members have elected committee members for its Collision and Mechanical Divisions.

Michael Anderson of Wagonwork Collision Center in Alexandria, Va., has been appointed Collision Division Director. Anderson will serves on ASA’s board of directors and will chair the 2004 ASA Collision Division Operations Committee.

The remaining members of the operations committee were named by ASA’s board and include Darrell Amberson, AAM, Lehman’s Garage, Bloomington, Minn., who is serving as assistant division director.

In addition to Anderson and Amberson, returning Collision committee members are: Chuck Sulkala, AAM, Acme Body & Paint, Boston, Mass.; Jerry Burns, AAM, Automotive Impressions Inc., Rio Rancho, N.M.; Myron Hazen, AAM, Collision Repair Center, East Moline, Ill.; Carroll Proctor, A.C. Proctor’s Paint & Body Shop, Augusta, Ga.; and Harry Moppert, Moppert Brothers Collision Services Group, Morton, Pa. New to the committee are Russ Verona, AAM, East Rockford Collision Center, Rockford, Ill.; Ron Nagy, AAM, Nagy’s Body & Frame Shop Inc., Doylestown, Ohio; Steve McDonnel, Grand Prix Body & Paint Inc., Phoenix, Ariz.; and Dan Bailey, CARSTAR Inc., Overland Park, Kan.

The 11 members of the ASA Collision Division Operations Committee represent shops of varying sizes from across the U.S. and work on behalf of all ASA collision members to advance and promote the collision repair industry.

ASA members have also elected Earl Dohner, AAM, of E&E’s Garage in Brookville, Ohio, as Mechanical Division Director. Dohner will serve on ASA’s board of directors and will chair the 2004 ASA Mechanical Division Operations Committee.

In addition to Dohner and Werner, returning committee members are Robert Ayers, Ayers Automotive Repair, Santa Barbara, Calif.; Aaron Clements, AAM, C&C Automotive, Augusta, Ga.; Bill Moss, Auto Advantage, Manassas, Va.; and Joe Torchiana, One Stop Tire & Auto Service Inc., West Chester, Pa. New to the committee are Mike Koebke, Gus Mann Automotive, San Antonio, Texas; Don Vidoli, Fairfield County Motorsport, Fairfield, Conn.; Dave Walter, Kehoe Automotive Center Inc., Carol Stream, Ill.; Terry Steenholdt, T.D.S. Auto Repair Inc., Sioux Falls, S.D.; and Bob Wills, Wills Auto Service, Battle Creek, Mich.

The 11 members of the ASA Mechanical Division Operations Committee represent repair facilities of varying sizes from across the U.S. and work on behalf of all ASA mechanical members to advance and promote the automotive service and repair industry.
