LAS VEGAS — Last week at AAPEX, ArvinMeritor announced that its Supreme Performance brand, part of the Light Vehicle Aftermarket (LVA) business group, has received EPA and CARB-compliant ratings for its MetalCat high-performance metallic catalytic converters.
MetalCat high-performance metallic catalytic converters are the first high-performance metallic converters to be rated both EPA- and CARB-compliant for the automotive aftermarket. The stainless-steel catalytic converter is available for a broad range of applications, with the exclusion of OBD-II vehicles in California.
According to Ken Bush, vice president and general manager, LVA Exhaust, MetalCat high-performance metallic converters offer a number of benefits to consumers, including full 321 stainless-steel construction both inside and out, 200-cell-per-square-inch construction, SUV performance applications, lightweight construction, a fully polished appearance and compact design.
