MERRITT ISLAND, Fla. – Arnott Air Suspension Products has announced the introduction of a new Coil Spring Conversion Kit for the 2003-’09 Mercedes-Benz E-Class W211 Chassis and 2005-’11 CLS-Class W219 Chassis with AIRMATIC. The kit is in stock for immediate shipping.

The Mercedes-Benz Coil Spring Conversion Kit, Arnott part No. C-2278, retails for $1,599 and includes a core return rebate of $150, making the net price after rebate $1,449 – often less than the price of one air strut from an authorized Mercedes-Benz dealership, according to Arnott. A detailed Installation Manual is included to ensure a safe and successful conversion.

Arnott’s coil spring suspension kit delivers a seamless and error-free conversion of the E-Class and CLS-Class AIRMATIC suspension system, the company states, featuring custom-made shock absorbers and powder-coated coil springs exclusively engineered by Arnott to ride like air suspension. The kit also includes Arnott’s special patent-pending Electronic Bypass Module (EBM), which eliminates dash panel error lights by disarming the Mercedes-Benz AIRMATIC system.

Additional Aftermarket Innovations
At $1,599, Arnott’s Coil Spring Conversion Kit is a great solution for Mercedes-Benz owners concerned about failing air suspension parts leaving them stranded with expensive and recurring maintenance problems, the company says. In addition, Arnott offers a range of innovative aftermarket parts for the Mercedes-Benz E-Class sedan and wagon and CLS-Class sedan, including new, redesigned rear air springs, rebuilt front air shocks, and a new WABCO OES air suspension compressor/dryer assembly.

Arnott backs each Coil Spring Conversion Kit with a limited lifetime warranty in North America, and a two-year limited warranty in the rest of the world. Arnott recently opened a European Union (EU) branch office and distribution center. The EU facility, located in the Netherlands, provides local sales and support, faster shipping, payment and bank transfers in local currencies, and an easier way for the growing legion of European customers to return and sell air suspension cores to Arnott.
