CHANTILLY, VA Mohammad Samii, APRA’s coordinator of electrical training, will conduct two seminars during Automechanika Canada in Toronto.
On Wednesday, Sept. 26 from 2 3:30 p.m. Samii will present an “Introduction to New Trends in Charging and Starting Systems.” He will address design features and characteristics of common contemporary starters and alternators prevalent in the field. This session is designed to familiarize technicians with modern charging and starting components, their interconnection with PCM and voltage regulation.
On Thursday, Sept. 27 Samii will present an in-depth workshop on “Modern Charging & Starting Systems” from 9 a.m. noon. This session is designed to help technicians better understand PCM activation, control, and monitoring of the modern charging systems in the GM, Ford, Chrysler, as well as some imports.
